About the event
Course: Helping Your Child Succeed: Examination Access Arrangements Explained
Examination Access Arrangements are adjustments (like extra time, a reader, or rest breaks) that help remove barriers during tests or exams for students with additional needs. They ensure children are assessed fairly and can show what they know without being disadvantaged by their difficulties.
This course is designed for parents of children in primary, secondary, further, and higher education. It provides a comprehensive understanding of Examination Access Arrangements (EAAs) — what they are, who is eligible, and how they help remove barriers to assessment. Parents will gain practical knowledge to advocate for and support their child in securing the appropriate arrangements throughout their educational journey. The course is conducted online.
